Gold mining in the region was carried out by enterprises of PJSC "Seligdar", PJSC "Polyus", Zapadnaya Gold Mining Ltd, OJSC "GeoProMining" and Nordgold.

Reportedly, JSC Seligdar Gold, which is part of the Seligdar Group, won an auction for the Yakutian gold mine Yasnaya Polyana (Aldan district).
